InZone - in brief...
InZone Power Services Ltd is a new engineering support business created in 2022 by Craig Watson.
Following graduation from the University of Edinburgh in 1986 with Honours in Electrical Engineering, Craig's career started as a graduate trainee with South of Scotland Electricity Board, later ScottishPower. In over 32 years of service, Craig has worked in project delivery and distribution design roles and clocked-up just over 20 years as a Senior Protection & Control Engineer. Very much a hands-on, front-line operational engineer, he was also Senior Authorised up to 33kV.
After choosing early retirement in 2019 to assist his wife, Lynne, with growing her own business as well as tending to more domestic projects for a while, Craig recognised the growing demand for experienced engineers to support the national effort to achieve Net Zero and energy independence. Not wanting to miss out on the fun, he decided to re-join that effort and create InZone Power Services.
